Alchemic Jousts’ original goal was to make a card game that mixed classic turn based strategies with a broad strategic view. This is reflected in the game where you get a nearly unlimited number of elements and skills, as well as the possibility to create new elements/skills with any of your old ones. We believe that all players should be able to play the game at their own pace. This is why Alchemic Jousts is classified as a semi-casual game. It means that when you create a deck, you’re going to get new elements and abilities as you progress throughout the game. However, the game is challenging and meant to provide fun gameplay to experienced players at the same time. We expect even at the very beginning. So, we created a 5-level AI difficulty for every single campaign map, with starting cards that are designed to lower the AI’s cap of a specific element. This way, even the players with only two cards at level 1

    Grandia Grandia Grandia on PS2 is the celebrated classic adventure RPG with stunning graphics and a story written by core Famicom Legend Falcom’s well known creator, Tetsuya Takahashi. The entire game is split into three parts, “Crusader,” “Draconian” and “Valkyrie” which are each home to different combat types and features. “Crusader” follows a tale of a young, newlyweds couple as they try to make a life in the secluded Crusader Castle. Inspired by a short story of the same name in Seiken Densetsu, the adventure begins when their journey through a newly opened kingdom takes an irrevocable turn. Each of the three episodes is split into separate chapters and local events as well as quests can be completed in any order. After completing a chapter, players can choose to return to the previous location or open the new map screen. The world of “Crusader” is divided into four continents, each featuring different biomes. Each of these are inhabited by unique lifeforms: Water for fish, Air for birds, Earth for plants and Fire for animals. The environment is also governed by the four cardinal forces, Aether, Terra, Ignis and Aqua. “Crusader” contains a variety of character classes, with the ability to select for male or female and 12 different voices to be used in dialogue. Players may also create up to five different classes, each with three different skills that can be unlocked and leveled up. Characters cannot be named and are instead numbered. Each class starts out with four skills, with the ability to unlock new ones throughout the game. Battles are turn-based and are fought with a large number of characters on the field. Each character has their own individual stats, which include special attack and defense ratings. There are five different stat categories: Vitality, Attack, Defense, Special Attack and Special Defense. The stats are separated into attack, defense and special stats, although some characters have more than one attack, defense or special attack stats. During battle, players may use a shield and activate the guard feature, which lets players select up to nine characters and lets the player control their actions. Before the battle begins, the characters will make their debuff cards, which account for the rate of attack and defense statistics.
