Laravel many-to-many no relation found for named parameters
I am trying to create a Laravel application, but have run into an error that has quite a lot of answers that are not working for me.
I have a many-to-many relationship in between two Laravel models (user and todo).
I can create new entries in both models and can add todos to users.
Now I want to create a form so that I can add a new todo to a user.
However, if I try to add a new todo, a todo will be added to the database just fine, but the new todo and the user are not linked to each other in the user_todos pivot table. So if I want to edit the todo, I can do that just fine. But if I want to add a new todo, it will just not add the new todo to the user_todos table.
When I add an ‘on’ method to my controller so that the new todo gets saved to the database:
$users = User::where(‘id’, $id)->get();
$todos = User::where(‘id’, $id)->get();
return view(‘todos.create_new_todo_form’, compact(‘users’, ‘todos’));
I get the following error:
