Q: RecyclerView with play services doesn’t render when user scrolls I’m following the official docs on using play services with recyclerview. I’m using an FusedLocationApi to get the current location and when the user gets close to a View the app will start geo tracking the user. The problem I’m running into is when I start the location updates it will start tracking the user but at the same time the adapter call will be sent which I’m guessing is because the user is scrolling in the recycler view. What I want is to be able to do user tracking but not be able to start the gps while the user is scrolling or moving.
