Cellar is a turn-based strategy board game focusing on a fantasy game-world filled with warring factions and magical beasts. From the secluded mountain homes of the nearby noble families to the grand cities of the distant capital, every aspect of this world is crafted with the player in mind, offering a believable and engaging game experience. Each of the six game factions is constructed from a unique faction card. The factions themselves are complemented by their inhabitants, who carry unique skills, items and personalities. A party of four adventurers, each with their own skills and special ability. The party is the fundamental unit of play in Cellar, and players can invite additional party members to their game during play. Loots and Keys are pieces of equipment that boost a user’s abilities during combat. The ability to create and share game worlds. If a player creates their own unique character, then players around the world can use that character in their own worlds, seeing the story from their point of view. Combat Battles in Cellar take place on a 2D fantasy map, allowing players to explore the game world at their leisure. In combat, participants use their abilities to move or shoot, then target enemies with their weapons for attack. All cellars are composed of boxes and barrels, and the player can alter the size and position of the boxes and barrels at the start of a game to help guide the party to victory. The battle system is turn-based, with each participant taking a turn to move and attack before waiting for the next turn. Every monster, every NPC, every other living thing in the game is as real as it gets. Every aspect of Cellar is focused on making the game world feel as realistic as possible. Monsters, NPCs and items all have weight and size, and each one of them has a distinct behavior pattern.
