Golden Krone Hotel is a gothic horror roguelike that is an homage to classic roguelikes like ZZT, Angband, and Ghoulish and is inspired by Lovecraftian fiction. You play Sorina Arobase, a human general made famous for hunting vampires. You’re on a mission of revenge to kill Fane, the exiled vampire prince. The original soundtrack was made by Christopher Loza, an acclaimed composer and artist. It features 15 tracks, an epic guitar riff, flamenco guitar, and a folk song that’s updated with a brand new traditional arrangement and modern instruments, for full gothic horror motion. Includes an in-game easter egg that can be unlocked by downloading the soundtrack. Note that this is not a “proper” story mode but a free mod where you’ll need to solve puzzles and gather keys to enter an area that was originally under construction and sealed off. If you like, you can save your game at your current location and then go to the final dungeon. The final boss is a simple one but it will prove quite challenging for players who aren’t quite at their best when it comes to roguelike games.9.0 – The game now supports Windows 10!
